This assembling machine, to be used in the automotive OEM industry, was built over a three month period. The machine was customer designed and modified in house, as building proceeded.
Extrusion Accumulator:

This device was built for a continuous extrusion operation. It was designed and built in a modular form in order that it could be disassembled and then shipped, in a custom built box, to the UK.
The unit was designed with a pneumatically operated take up mechanism, which in conjunction with the free floating rollers provides 35 feet of accumulated extrusion, permitting stop & secondary operations (ie: drilling, notching, cutting etc.).
The outboard rollers have a vertical adjustment to allow for alignment to a variety of incoming and outgoing heights of related equipment.

Innovative Design:

This mould was designed and created by us to produce a silicone grip cover, called a “Sticky Grip”, for a paintball gun. The design of the mould incorporates the client's trademark as shown in the bottom left photo.
The aluminium inserts imbedded in the grips were designed by us. We designed them, to be bonded to the silicone, in order to provide a rigid skeleton for the pliable skin.
The star-shaped cutouts, in the inserts, intentionally show through the translucent red, white, and blue silicone, producing the “Patriot” grip.

Design Challenge:

Our client presented us with the challenge of designing a system to temporarily attach the two pieces of material without damaging either part.
We designed and produced a disposable, flexible plastic clip that matched the contour of the materials and could be snapped in place quickly.

Paintball Markers:
We became actively involved in the design and production of Paintball Marker (Gun) parts in 1999. We worked very closely with our customer in the design and development of many innovative processes to create high-end, Paintball marker parts.
With our talented design team and expert CNC operators we continue to manufacture high quality parts to close tolerances and fine finishes.

Guages:
Our design department took the concept description from our customer and engineered the above guage; incorporating Mitutoyo measuring devices. Our talented machine shop, then went to work building the finished product.
The entire project from conception to completion took just under two weeks!!!
